Role Description The Tendering Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ḩulwān. The Tendering Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing technical and commercial tender documents, including requests for quotations, cost estimates, and bid proposals for EPC and industrial projects. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project specifications and drawings, coordinating with procurement to obtain supplier and subcontractor offers, and ensuring accurate pricing and compliance with client requirements. The role involves close communication with internal engineering, project management, and finance teams to validate technical solutions and financial assumptions. The Tendering Engineer will also support negotiations, participate in clarification meetings with clients, and maintain updated tender documentation and records to ensure timely and competitive bid submissions.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong experience in preparing and managing quotations, including cost estimation and bid compilation for engineering and construction projects.
• Candidates should possess solid analytical skills to review technical documents, interpret project specifications, and develop accurate and competitive tender proposals.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors, and engage professionally with clients.
• Candidates should possess procurement-related skills, including sourcing, evaluating offers, and supporting vendor selection in line with project requirements and budget constraints.
• Candidates should possess a background in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline, with the ability to understand technical drawings, standards, and industrial systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in tendering or estimating within EPC, heavy industry, or construction projects is highly beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), and familiarity with tendering or ERP software are advantageous.
• Ability to work on-site in Ḩulwān, manage multiple tenders simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
