Job Description – Production Technician Job Title: Production Technician Department: Production Section: Production Work Location: 10th of Ramadan Factory Direct Reporting: Production Supervisor / Shift Leader Job Objective Execute and monitor production operations according to the production plan and approved operational instructions, while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards and achieving production targets efficiently. Key Responsibilities and Tasks Operate and monitor production lines and machinery according to approved operating instructions. Execute production processes according to the production plan and target rates. Monitor machine performance and report any malfunctions or operational issues immediately. Ensure the availability of raw materials and components necessary for the production process before and during operation. Perform initial operational checks and ensure the product meets the required specifications. Adhere to quality instructions and procedures during all stages of production. Record production data, quantities produced, downtime, and any shift-related notes. Cooperate with maintenance, quality, and warehouse departments to resolve production issues and improve workflow. Adhere to safety, security, and occupational health procedures and use personal protective equipment. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workspace and machines according to 5S standards. Assist in machine changeover and setup processes based on product requirements and the production plan. Minimize waste and rework by adhering to operational instructions. Execute the instructions of the Production Supervisor and Shift Leader within the limits of approved policies and procedures. Participate in activities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency. Adhere to work schedules, shift systems, and remain at the workstation throughout the shift. Qualifications and Experience Intermediate or post-secondary technical qualification, preferably specializing in industrial fields, mechanics, or electricity. 1–3 years of experience in production or manufacturing, preferably in plastic industries or home appliances. Ability to handle machines and production lines. Ability to read and understand operating and production instructions. Willingness to work in a shift system. Proficiency in basic handling of production logs and reports is preferred. Skills and Competencies Commitment and discipline. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work in a team.
