Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Planning & Cost Control Engineer based in Qesm El Sherouk. The role involves preparing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and updating plans to align with project objectives and timelines. The engineer will develop and manage cost control procedures, track budgets, perform variance analyses, and issue regular cost and progress reports for stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project, finance, and procurement teams, validating contractor claims, forecasting costs and cash flows, and recommending corrective actions when deviations occur. The role also includes contributing to risk assessments, supporting bid and tender evaluations, and ensuring that planning and cost data meet company standards and reporting requirements.
Qualifications

• Strong cost-focused capabilities, including Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting skills.
• Proficiency in project oversight functions, including Project Control and related planning methodologies.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills for data interpretation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Experience with project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Construction, or related field); advanced certifications in planning or cost control are an advantage.
• Proven experience in real estate or construction projects at a senior or lead level in planning and cost control.
• Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
