Job Summary:

To lead and manage DevOps practices, automation, and infrastructure deployment processes, ensuring efficient, secure, and scalable application delivery. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and on-premises OpenShift environments, while ensuring high availability, security, compliance, and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and deployment operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, testing, and deployments.
• Manage source code repositories and implement appropriate Git branching strategies, including GitFlow and trunk-based development, using Azure Repos.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Manage Azure DevOps services, including Azure Artifacts, Azure Test Plans, and Release Management, to streamline software delivery.
• Implement and maintain security and access controls across DevOps workflows, including Azure Policy, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Key Vault, and security monitoring tools.
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and optimize Red Hat OpenShift clusters across on-premises bare-metal and virtualized environments.
• Manage containerized applications by optimizing Docker images, Helm charts, and Kubernetes-based deployment configurations.
• Configure and maintain OpenShift networking components, including Routes, Ingress Controllers, and Service Mesh solutions such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Manage OpenShift storage resources, including Persistent Volumes (PVs), Storage Classes, and Container Storage Interface (CSI) drivers.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and ELK/EFK stacks.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, and PowerShell to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Implement configuration management and infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Implement GitOps-based deployment workflows using Argo CD or Flux CD to improve deployment consistency and control.
• Configure and optimize Horizontal Pod Autoscaling (HPA) and Vertical Pod Autoscaling (VPA) to support workload scalability and resource utilization.
• Enforce security hardening practices, container image scanning, encryption, and access control policies across DevOps pipelines and OpenShift environments.
• Monitor infrastructure and application performance, configure proactive alerts, and coordinate incident response to minimize downtime and ensure service reliability.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for OpenShift environments and critical workloads.
• Optimize Azure resource utilization, container efficiency, and infrastructure performance to support cost-effective operations.
• Collaborate with internal IT departments, other bank divisions, and outsourced application providers to ensure effective implementation, integration, and support of DevOps solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in deployment frequency, infrastructure reliability, automation, security, and operational performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud technologies, and containerized infrastructure environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, and release management.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline software development and release cycles.
• Deep experience managing on-premises Red Hat OpenShift environments, including cluster administration, networking, storage, and high availability.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and container orchestration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly Terraform or equivalent tools.
• Proficiency in GitOps workflows and deployment automation using Argo CD or Flux CD.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Good understanding of DevOps security practices, including RBAC, encryption, container image scanning, and security policy enforcement.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK/EFK, or Azure Monitor.
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery practices for containerized workloads and critical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure scalability, high availability, performance optimization, and resource utilization.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is preferred.
• ITIL knowledge or certification is preferred.
