Role Description The Architect role at SEC – SHAWKY CONSULT is a full-time, on-site position based in New Cairo. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, producing detailed designs, and preparing drawings, models, and documentation that align with project requirements and design standards. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with engineering disciplines, contributing to design reviews, and ensuring that plans meet regulatory codes, sustainability targets, and client expectations. The Architect will support project planning, monitor progress, and assist in managing design changes and technical issues during execution. The role involves regular collaboration with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality, integrated solutions across a variety of project types.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience delivering concept and detailed design packages.
• Ability to work with Integration and Software Development tools relevant to architectural workflows (e.g., BIM, CAD, and coordination platforms).
• Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, coordination, and documentation across multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and strong technical drawing skills.
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design principles.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment on-site.
• Previous experience in multi-sector projects (e.g., residential, commercial, industrial, or aviation) is an advantage.
