Role Description The Senior Architect (shopdrawings) will lead the preparation, review, and coordination of architectural shop drawings for complex construction projects. This full-time, on-site role is based in Qesm El Maadi and involves collaborating closely with design teams, engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure drawings are accurate, buildable, and aligned with design intent and project specifications. Daily tasks include producing detailed shop drawings, resolving design and coordination issues, verifying compliance with codes and standards, and integrating architectural details with structural and MEP systems. The Senior Architect will oversee drawing quality, manage revisions, and support project documentation throughout the lifecycle. The role also includes mentoring junior staff, coordinating with BIM and other digital tools, and supporting workflows that improve efficiency and reduce on-site conflicts.
Qualifications

• Strong background in Architecture and Architectural Design, with demonstrated experience in detailed shopdrawing production for medium to large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in relevant Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools, BIM platforms, and collaborative project environments.
• Solid Project Management capabilities, including coordinating multidisciplinary inputs, managing deadlines, and aligning deliverables with project requirements.
• Advanced skills with CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or equivalent) and familiarity with digital collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of local building codes, international standards, and best practices in construction detailing and coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or a closely related field, with several years of experience in a senior or lead architectural role.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience in large-scale or complex infrastructure, commercial, or industrial projects is an advantage.
