Role Description The Senior Internal Auditor will perform risk-based internal audits across Wadi Group’s operations to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, governance, and compliance with policies and regulations. Responsibilities include planning audit assignments, conducting fieldwork, analyzing financial and operational processes, and preparing clear, timely audit reports with practical recommendations. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, following up on remediation plans, and providing advisory support on process improvements and risk mitigation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sheikh Zayed City, requiring close coordination with finance, operations, and management stakeholders.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong finance and financial audits skills to evaluate financial statements, controls, and compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Candidates should possess advanced analytical skills to assess risks, interpret complex data, and identify control gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Candidates should possess the ability to prepare and review high-quality audit reports that clearly document findings, evidence, and recommendations.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills to engage with stakeholders, present audit results, and build collaborative relationships across functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or ACCA are preferred.
• Several years of progressive internal or external audit experience, ideally within agribusiness, manufacturing, or related industries.
• Solid knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk management, and audit methodologies, with proficiency in MS Office and audit-related tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Sheikh Zayed City, manage multiple audit assignments, and maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality.
