Position: Pod Lead Material Science
Type: Contract
Compensation: $15-$28 per hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20-40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5 10 technical trainers for AI training tasks
- Develop and review scientific tasks ensuring technical accuracy
- Ensure reproducibility and quality of scientific code and research outputs
- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance
- Analyze simulations and evaluate results for scientific integrity
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine training materials
- Document processes and findings for future reference
Requirements
- Ph.D. or equivalent advanced expertise in Materials Science
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, Fortran, or Julia
- Expertise in atomistic simulation or computational thermodynamics
- Experience in reviewing scientific code and simulations
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience in technical teams
- Strong analytical and written communication skills
- Proficient in Linux/terminal interface for development tasks
