About the job Junior accountant
"We are looking for someone smart, curious, and eager to use AI to work faster and better - not just a traditional accountant." The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, along with basic knowledge or interest in Artificial Intelligence tools to help improve efficiency and reduce workload.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in daily accounting operations (entries, reconciliations, reports).
- Prepare and maintain financial records accurately.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports.
- Help in organizing and documenting financial data.
- Use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Excel automation, or similar) to improve reporting efficiency.
- Automate repetitive accounting tasks
- Support data analysis and insights.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reduce workload and improve productivity.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting (fresh graduates are welcome).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
- Basic knowledge or strong interest in AI tools (ChatGPT, automation tools, or similar).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred (Nice to have)
- Experience using AI in work tasks (even personal use).
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Odoo, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of automation (Excel formulas, scripts, etc.).
