Role Description The Business Development Consultant is a part-time, remote role responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, with a focus on building a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects. Day-to-day tasks include researching potential markets and clients, executing lead generation activities, and initiating contact through email, calls, and virtual meetings. The consultant will assess client needs, provide advisory support on business planning and growth strategies, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to shape proposals and service offerings. This role also involves tracking business development metrics, refining outreach approaches based on performance data, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or other business development tools. The consultant is expected to work independently, manage their schedule effectively, and communicate progress regularly to leadership.

• Candidates should possess strong New Business Development and Lead Generation skills to identify, qualify, and nurture prospects.
• Candidates should possess solid Consulting and Business Planning skills to assess client needs and recommend tailored growth strategies.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and confident client-facing interaction.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with CRM or sales tracking tools, basic data analysis, and reporting for business development activities.
• Candidates should possess strong relationship-building abilities, negotiation skills, and a client-focused mindset.
• Candidates should possess the capacity to work effectively in a remote, part-time setting, with strong time management and self-organization.
• Candidates should possess relevant experience in sales, business development, or consulting; experience in B2B environments is beneficial.
• Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
