Role Description The Dental Assistant at Curebnb is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Dental Assistant will support dentists and hygienists during clinical procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, arranging instruments, and assisting with chairside tasks. Responsibilities include welcoming patients, reviewing medical and dental histories, ensuring patient comfort, and explaining basic treatment steps under supervision. The role involves adhering to strict sterilization protocols, maintaining clean and organized work areas, preparing materials (e.g., impression materials, temporary restorations), and handling basic lab-related duties. The Dental Assistant will also help with appointment scheduling support, documentation, and coordination of follow-up visits, while consistently promoting a high standard of oral care and safety.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong foundational skills in dental assisting, including experience supporting dentists during procedures and managing chairside responsibilities.
• Candidates should possess practical skills in dental care and dentistry, with knowledge of common treatments, dental terminology, and clinical workflows.
• Candidates should possess skills in oral care, including educating patients on basic hygiene practices and post-treatment instructions under professional guidance.
• Candidates should possess skills in sterilization, including proper handling, cleaning, and sterilizing of instruments and strict adherence to infection control protocols.
• Completion of a recognized Dental Assistant training program or relevant vocational certification is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow clinical guidelines and safety standards are required.
• Effective communication skills in English and Arabic, with a professional and empathetic approach to patient interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment, with flexibility to support different providers and schedules.
