Role Description The Facade Site Engineer – Curtain Wall & Aluminum Systems is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo. This role is responsible for supervising and coordinating all façade-related activities on site, including installation of curtain wall, aluminum, and glazing systems in line with approved drawings and specifications. The engineer monitors construction progress, resolves technical issues, ensures adherence to safety and quality standards, and prepares daily and weekly site reports. The role involves close coordination with project managers, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to manage materials, schedules, and inspections. The engineer also participates in site meetings, reviews shop drawings and method statements, and supports testing, commissioning, and handover of façade works.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong technical skills in curtain wall systems, aluminum façades, glazing, and building envelope details.
• Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Candidates should possess site supervision skills, including monitoring installation activities, coordinating with subcontractors, and managing daily site tasks.
• Candidates should possess quality and safety management skills, including inspection, troubleshooting, and adherence to HSE standards.
• Candidates should possess project coordination skills, including reporting, documentation, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in façade engineering, curtain wall, or aluminum systems on construction projects is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office) and familiarity with industry codes and standards is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively on-site in a team-oriented environment are essential.
