Job description

• To guard our guests' lives against drowning in the pool or beach.
• Continuous monitoring of the hotel pool and beach and ensuring all hotel signs in the area are updated.
• Possess a valid governmental certificate in lifeguarding and renew it as required.
• Inform management to prepare reports for any hazardous situations during the shift.
• Be knowledgeable about first aid and how to deal with drowning cases.
• Be flexible in assisting around different areas of the hotel and perform any other tasks assigned by management.
• Operate a quality professional fitness program including fitness testing, evaluations, program design, and fitness instruction.
• Be aware of the hotel's health, safety, and hygiene policies.
• Ensure all safety and cleaning standards are maintained throughout the hotel.
• Predict that all activities and purchased equipment and belongings may cause harm to the environment; join all activities which are organized to protect biological diversity and share individual responsibilities to increase environmental knowledge and carry out necessary training.
• Minimize consumption of all materials and equipment currently used (paper, printed materials, etc.).
• Implement necessary warnings and departmental training to save energy within the facility and continue applying decisions made for energy conservation.
• Properly collect and dispose of waste to reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects.
• Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management and food safety management systems implemented at the facility.
• Perform all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.

Qualifications

• Education: At least a high school or vocational diploma.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Foreign language: Sufficient level of English and Arabic to communicate effectively with guests and employees.
• Courses and training: Professional training, seminars, and professional certification.
• Computer literacy: Not required.
• Skills: Expected to use basic tools and equipment related to the job. Expected to perform simple, specific, and standard tasks that are generally repetitive.
