Our client is a well-established company specializing in the importation and distribution of industrial and commercial equipment, tools, and spare parts.

The company is the exclusive authorized distributor of INGCO spare parts in Egypt, while also offering products from other recognized brands, including TOTAL and EMTOP.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Head of Accounts to lead the accounting department, oversee financial operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and maintain effective financial controls.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in accounting management, financial reporting, team supervision, and accounting systems, with previous experience in the industrial equipment and tools importation and distribution sector.

Previous experience in the same industry is a mandatory requirement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting Operations & Team Management

• Lead and supervise the accounting team, distribute tasks, and monitor overall performance.
• Review, verify, and approve daily journal entries and accounting transactions.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of all accounting records.
• Ensure that all accounting activities are completed within established deadlines.

2. Financial Reporting & Statements

• Prepare and review periodic financial statements (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually).
• Prepare trial balances and ensure the accuracy of financial accounts.
• Prepare financial and analytical reports for senior management.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.

3. Accounts Receivable & Payable

• Monitor customer and supplier accounts.
• Ensure proper reconciliation of outstanding balances.
• Review and follow up on accounts receivable and payable.
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations.

4. Auditing & Compliance

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide the required financial documents.
• Ensure compliance with approved accounting policies, procedures, and financial regulations.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.

5. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

• Develop and improve accounting processes and systems.
• Strengthen internal controls and minimize financial risks.
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting Department.
• 7–10 years of practical experience in accounting.
• Previous experience in companies specializing in importing and distributing industrial and commercial equipment, tools, or spare parts is MANDATORY.
• Proven experience in supervising and managing an accounting team.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
