Role Description The Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and well-presented guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards. Day-to-day tasks include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing amenities, vacuuming, dusting, and handling guest requests in a professional manner. The role also involves reporting maintenance issues, following safety and hygiene protocols, and collaborating with the housekeeping team to meet room readiness deadlines. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Giza Palace Hotel & Spa in Giza, requiring a consistent presence and reliability to support daily operations.
Qualifications

• Housekeeping and clean rooms skills, with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Laundry and fabric care skills, including handling linens and guest laundry according to hotel procedures.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to interact courteously with guests and collaborate with team members.
• Attention to detail and time management abilities to complete tasks efficiently and meet room turnover deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices in a hotel environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods as part of daily duties.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow instructions, work both independently and as part of a diverse team, and maintain a professional demeanor.
