Job description

• Contract-based opportunities are available for engineers and specialists in Occupational Health and Safety to work remotely as part of a training program aimed at raising awareness among workers in the transportation sector regarding safe transportation practices, protective measures, and the safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Duties and Responsibilities
• Deliver occupational health and safety training and awareness programs.
• Train participants on safe transportation practices, protective measures, and hazardous materials handling.
• Prepare and deliver training content tailored to the nature of work and occupational risks.
• Explain preventive procedures and safe workplace practices.
• Manage virtual training sessions and encourage trainee engagement and participation.
• Monitor trainees’ understanding and evaluate the achievement of training objectives.
• Adhere to the approved training materials and scheduled timelines.

Skills

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical Engineering, or a degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
• At least 2 years of practical experience in occupational health and safety, transportation, or related fields.
• Experience in delivering training and awareness programs and managing training groups.
• Proficiency in using virtual training and online meeting platforms.
• Must be proficient in English.
• Excellent communication, explanation, presentation, and training discussion management skills.

Contract Details

• Contract Duration: 3 months.
• Work Arrangement: Fully remote.
• Training Schedule: 4 days per week, 4 hours per day.
• Training Areas: Safe transportation, protective measures, hazardous materials transportation, and occupational health and safety.
