Procurement Engineer

Job Summary

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Procurement Engineer

to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team for one of our major projects in Egypt.

What you will need to do:

Handle the procurement of technical goods and services required for the project.
Prepare inquiry packages source suppliers/subcontractors issue inquiries evaluate quotations prepare comparative statements and participate in negotiations.
Coordinate required deliveries while ensuring compliance with agreed schedules quality standards and project requirements.
Monitor suppliers subcontractors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of materials equipment services and related documentation.
Follow up logistics activities shipment/delivery processes warehousing activities and shipping documentation.
Apply Incoterms rules and shipping terms effectively throughout the procurement cycle.
Ensure strict compliance with the companys IMS Procedures Policies and Work Instructions.
Support tendering activities by providing the required procurement documents and maintaining standard procurement templates.
Assess and evaluate suppliers subcontractors and service providers.
Manage multiple procurement packages/projects while meeting competing deadlines.

What you will need to have:

Bachelors degree in engineering (Civil or Architecture Engineering is preferred).
36 years of experience in procurement preferably within the construction field.
Previous experience in engineering procurement and project operations.
Solid experience in dealing with suppliers and subcontractors.
Good knowledge of logistics warehousing shipping processes and procurement procedures.
Experience with ERP systems and excellent MS Office skills.
Professional working proficiency in English.
