We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients a Structural Engineer to join our team.
This is a full-time job opportunity for someone who is proactive, organized, and passionate about delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced business environment.
About the Role As a Structural Engineer at Talent 360, you will be responsible for producing fabrication-ready structural models and detailed shop drawings for concrete and steel works.
You will ensure that structural models and drawings are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project requirements, while supporting construction teams through the delivery of clear and reliable technical documentation.
You will also be responsible for preparing and verifying as-built structural documentation to accurately reflect the final executed works.
Key Responsibilities Develop the structural model from LOD 300 to LOD 400 covering foundations, rafts, piles, pile caps, cores, shear walls, columns, beams, slabs, post-tensioned elements and steelwork Model reinforcement to fabrication level: bar sizes, shapes, laps, splices, couplers, hooks, cover, spacing and congestion checks at joints and nodes Produce rebar bar bending schedules (BBS), cutting lists and steel fabrication deliverables directly from the model Detail steel connections — base plates, gusset plates, cleats, bolts, welds, stiffeners — to shop drawing standard Model embedded items, anchor bolts, cast-in plates, waterstops, construction joints and pour breaks aligned with the construction sequence Coordinate sleeves, openings and penetrations with MEP routing; verify against structural design limits and escalate exceptions to the design engineer Produce structural shop drawings: layouts, sections, details, reinforcement drawings, formwork and pour-strip drawings Extract concrete volumes, steel tonnage and formwork areas for BOQ and procurement Run and resolve structural clashes, including hard clashes with MEP and soft clashes with access and formwork zones Validate the model against the design engineer's approved analysis outputs and issued structural drawings; raise discrepancies as RFIs rather than resolving them independently Deliver LOD 500 as-built structural models incorporating survey verification, actual pour records, concrete test data and element-level asset information Social insurance and medical insurance.
Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and innovative projects Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in the relevant engineering or architecture discipline 5–8 years, with proven rebar detailing and steel connection modelling at LOD 400 Working knowledge of ISO 19650 (Parts 1 & 2), BEP, MIDP/TIDP, CDE workflows Autodesk Revit (advanced), Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD Autodesk Forma for Construction — formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and before that BIM 360.
Candidates with experience on any of the three names have the relevant skill; the platform, workflows and data are unchanged Clash detection, clash matrix management, and issue resolution tracking Custom family creation and parameter management; Dynamo scripting is an advantage Ability to read and interpret contract documents, specifications, and consultant drawings Technical office experience: shop drawings, material submittals, BOQ / quantity take-off, RFIs, as-built documentation Professional syndicate / engineering board registration where applicable English proficiency for technical correspondence Preferred Qualifications Technical Skills Revit Structure (advanced, including rebar) · Navisworks Manage · AutoCAD · Autodesk Forma for Construction · Dynamo · Excel Precast and post-tensioned concrete detailing experience Knowledge of ACI / BS / Eurocode detailing requirements Experience with rebar prefabrication and coupler systems
