• Lead and supervise cost accounting activities and ensure accurate and timely cost reporting.

• Monitor and analyze project costs, including direct and indirect costs, materials, labor, subcontractors, and overhead expenses.

• Prepare and analyze project cost reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

• Monitor actual costs against approved budgets and investigate significant variances.

• Maintain accurate cost allocation across projects, cost centers, and business units.

• Support project teams in monitoring financial performance and identifying cost-control opportunities.

• Review project expenditures, purchase orders, subcontractor costs, and related accounting entries.

• Prepare monthly closing activities related to cost accounting and ensure accurate cost recognition.

• Coordinate with General Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Projects, and Planning teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, cost accounts, and project-related balances.

• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports and management reports.

• Ensure proper accounting treatment for construction projects, work in progress (WIP), and project-related expenses.

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes and provide financial insights to management.

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable tax and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and improve cost-control procedures and accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.

• 8–10+ years of relevant experience, including solid experience in both General Accounting and Cost Accounting.

• Previous experience in Construction and/or Real Estate companies is required.

• Strong understanding of project costing, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems is required.

• Strong knowledge of taxation and accounting principles.

• Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
