Job Summary

We are looking for a Mid-Level Jira Developer to develop, customize, maintain, and support Jira solutions. The role will focus on Jira configuration, workflow development, automation, scripting, integrations, and platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize Jira projects, workflows, screens, fields, schemes, permissions, and notifications. Configure and maintain Jira Automation rules. Develop Jira customizations using Script Runner and Groovy. Develop and maintain Jira integrations using REST APIs and webhooks. Create and optimize JQL queries, filters, dashboards, and reports. Integrate Jira with Confluence, Git, Bitbucket, CI/CD tools, and third-party applications. Gather business requirements and translate them into Jira solutions. Support Jira upgrades, migrations, and platform enhancements. Work with Development, QA, Dev Ops, PMO, and business teams. Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in Jira Development, Jira Administration, or Atlassian solutions. Strong hands-on experience with Jira Software. Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, screens, and custom fields. Experience with Jira Automation. Experience with Script Runner and Groovy. Good knowledge of JQL. Gather business requirements and translate them into Jira solutions. Support Jira upgrades, migrations, and platform enhancements. Work with Development, QA, Dev Ops, PMO, and business teams. Prepare and maintain technical documentation. Good knowledge of JQL. Experience with Jira REST APIs and webhooks. Experience with Confluence and Git/Bitbucket. Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SDLC. Basic knowledge of SQL is preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork skills.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with Jira Cloud or Jira Data Center. Knowledge of Java, Python, or Java Script. Experience with Jenkins, Git Lab, or Azure Dev Ops. Atlassian or Jira certification.
