Role Description The Senior Electrical Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in El Sherouk. This role is responsible for leading the electrical design and implementation of building systems for residential, commercial, and administrative projects. Daily tasks include preparing and reviewing electrical drawings and calculations, coordinating power distribution and lighting layouts, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The Senior Electrical Engineer collaborates closely with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance. Additional responsibilities include supervising junior engineers, reviewing contractor submissions, participating in site inspections, and supporting project planning, budgeting, and value engineering activities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with a solid understanding of building services and applicable codes. Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design, including preparing detailed drawings, load calculations, and technical specifications. Candidates should possess strong skills in Power Distribution and Power Systems, including low-voltage and medium-voltage networks, panel schedules, and protection schemes. Relevant bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent); advanced certifications or professional registration are an advantage. Several years of experience in real estate or construction projects, preferably in residential, commercial, and administrative developments. Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as Auto CAD, Revit, or similar) and familiarity with industry standards and local regulations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and quality. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
