Job :

Reporting to the Director of Utilities & Equipment, you will be responsible for optimizing the site's equipment according to the needs expressed by its internal clients. As such, your missions will be:

• Plan, organize, and control the site's internal logistics activities, while respecting performance objectives and quality, H&S, environmental, and energy requirements, as well as all regulatory and standard requirements associated with the products.
• Continuously improve management systems and practices, from their development to their application, for sustainable optimization of fuel consumption.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment and Energy (QHSEE) rules;• Ensure the availability and conformity of all safety equipment for the individual and collective protection of its employees and machinery;Ensure the allocation of site equipment:
• Develop the forecast plan for the allocation of site equipment;
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of internal logistics processes and propose solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs;
• Map internal logistics flows;• Monitor needs in terms of steelmaking additives and consumables for flow optimization;• Ensure the evacuation of co-products to their respective destinations (quantification and separation - cakes, white slag, black slag, cinders, etc.);
• Assign drivers according to needs;• Coordinate with the Maintenance department on the status and availability of site equipment (reporting equipment anomalies);• Monitor operating hours with an equitable distribution of all site equipment;• Communicate the utilization rate report per equipment and per client (with traceability).
• Prepare reports (daily, weekly, and monthly).• Manage service subcontractors (follow-up according to contract)
• Monitor internal logistics KPIs.Application of procedures within your team:
• Develop department procedures and ensure their rigorous application.
• Develop department operating procedures;• Inspect and monitor the application of service procedures;• Participate in the improvement of site mobile equipment logistics procedures;Team efficiency and development:

Required profile :

Master's degree in logistics or equivalent:

• Good knowledge of logistics
• Good knowledge of Handling
