Accounts Payable Accountant

Hexcel is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant for our Casablanca, Morocco location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Oversee and manage supplier accounting transactions, including recording supplier invoices, expense claims, and related journal entries in AX.

  
  

• Verify invoices against supporting documentation (purchase orders, receipts, delivery notes, contracts, and agreements) and ensure proper approvals before processing.

  
  

• Prepare and process supplier payments, record banking transactions, and manage intercompany (IC) netting activities.

  
  

• Perform vendor, customer, bank, and intercompany account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.

  
  

• Analyze accounts and investigate accounting variances, exceptions, and outstanding balances to maintain accurate financial records.

  
  

• Monitor and follow up on missing invoices and unresolved supplier issues to ensure complete and accurate transaction processing.

  
  

• Manage supplier relationships by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  
  

• Maintain organized filing and archiving of invoices, payment records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation in compliance with company requirements.

  
  

• Prepare incentive-related documentation and provide accounting, administrative, and operational support to the Finance Department as required.

  
  

• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, applicable laws, and quality standards while performing all assigned duties and special projects within established deadlines.

  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  
  

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, General Accounting, or Finance operations.

  
  

• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar accounting software.

  
  

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, accounts payable processes, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.

  
  

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with strong analytical and reporting skills.

  
  

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

  
  

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in English; French and Arabic are considered an asset.
