In this role, your main responsibilities will be: Design and development of 3D models for mechanical parts made of sheet metal, plastic, or molded materials, both in the creation and development phases. Creation and updating of 2D drawings (assembly or sub-assembly parts), in accordance with ISO dimensioning standards and industry-specific rules (sheet metal, plastic, or molding). Verification of assemblies and clearances using tolerance stack-up calculations. Monitoring of workload while respecting quality processes and deadlines. Convergence on robust technical solutions and continuous improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams during area meetings and HR reviews. Feasibility studies up to the RO (Release Order) phase of mechanical components. Official validation and documentation in PLM tools such as 3DCOM. Analysis of supplier feedback (2D and 3D) to ensure compliance with technical specifications. Drafting of progress reports for all assigned activities. Ensuring knowledge capitalization across the entire scope of work.

Desired Candidate Profile

Profile: Holder of a Bachelor's degree or Engineering Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering; Possess a good understanding of the automotive industry and proven knowledge of automotive parts; Proficient in CATIA (3D and 2D), Siemens, and NX design software. Experience: Entry-level candidate with proven experience in the design of interior or exterior equipment parts and plastics processing. Skills: Fluent English; Knowledge and proficiency with PLM/Catia/Enovia systems, or failing that, TCAE/Unigraphics/Teamcenter. 3D/2D component modeling; Knowledge of design and manufacturing criteria for injection-molded plastic components: mold axis, draft angles, parting line management, undercut and/or carriage management; feasibility studies; Knowledge of the ASME dimensioning system. Furthermore, it is interesting that the candidate has also acquired experience: in the automotive sector and in particular in the design of interior vehicle components; welding of plastic components;
