Medium/Low Voltage Electrotechnical Technician | Casablanca (Morocco)
تفاصيل الوظيفة
The company is a specialized integrator in High Power Electrical Installations (CFO), particularly working on Medium Voltage / Low Voltage (MT/BT) transformer substation projects for industrial, commercial, and institutional clients. Interventions cover the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment in both low and medium voltage environments.
The Electrotechnical Technician is the reference technical executor on construction sites. They carry out installation work, ensure equipment commissioning, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance operations. They operate in strict compliance with electrical safety rules, applicable standards, and ONEE specifications.
3.1 Electrical Installation Work
- Carry out the assembly and connection of MV/LV transformer substation equipment: HV A cells, transformers (dry or oil), main distribution panels (TGBT), LV distribution boards
- Perform cabling of HV and LV connections: laying, pulling, and connecting cables (U1000 R2V, HV cables, busbars)
- Install cable trays, conduits, ducts, and cable supports according to execution plans
- Assemble and connect LV panels and cabinets (main distribution panels, sub-distribution boards) based on single-line diagrams
- Perform earthing and equipotential bonding according to standards and best practices
- Conduct tests and control measurements: insulation resistance, circuit continuity, phase sequence verification
- Participate in the commissioning of MV/LV transformer substations: pre-energization checks, control of protection settings
- Perform lockout and tagout operations for HV installations according to ONEE procedures and authorization rules
- Carry out no-load and load functional tests: verification of transformation ratio, coupling, protection and measurement systems
- Adjust protection relays, circuit breakers, and load shedding devices according to study parameters
- Prepare commissioning certificates and acceptance forms with the client and ONEE
- Train client operators on how to use the installation: operations, safety instructions, emergency procedures
- Execute periodic preventive maintenance procedures for MV/LV substations: cleaning, tightening connections, checking transformer oil levels, cell inspection
- Perform regulatory measurements and checks: insulation resistance, earth resistance, potential arc fault, infrared thermography
- Inspect the condition of equipment: HV cells, transformers, main distribution panels, cabling, ventilation systems, busbars
- Fill in maintenance tracking forms and site logs after each intervention
- Report any deviation from standard values and propose corrective actions
- Diagnose and locate faults on LV and MV installations: using measuring instruments (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, network analyzer)
- Respond urgently to electrical failures within contract deadlines, strictly adhering to safety procedures
- Replace defective equipment: HV fuses, protection relays, LV switchgear, cell contacts, insulating rings
- Perform validation tests after intervention and ensure recommissioning under the best conditions
- Write intervention reports with diagnosis, work performed, and recommendations
- Rigorously apply electrical safety procedures: wear appropriate PPE (insulating gloves, face shield, insulating mat, insulated tools), verify absence of voltage (VAT)
- Comply with and enforce ONEE electrical authorization rules: scope of action defined by the authorization certificate, lockout procedures
- Ensure installations comply with applicable standards: NF C 13-100, NF C 13-200, NF C 15-100, ONEE specifications, IEC 62271
- Immediately report any incident, dangerous situation, or non-compliance detected on installations to management
- Participate in safety briefings, risk assessments prior to interventions (prevention plan, risk analysis)
- Maintain order and cleanliness of the construction site and work areas after each job
- Daily record of hours worked and site log
- Submit signed commissioning certificates, acceptance forms, and intervention reports within the deadlines
- Report material, tooling, and PPE needs to the site manager
- Contribute to field experience feedback: recurring issues, possible improvements to intervention procedures
