Responsibilities & Missions:

1. Operational Management & TACE

• Monitor and optimize the TACE (Activity Rate Excluding Leave) of the teams.
• Ensure the balance between workload and production capacity.
• Manage the staffing of consultants on different projects (multi-client).

2. Delivery Excellence

• Acting as a guarantor of the quality of deliverables and compliance with commitments (SLA/KPI).
• Implement rigorous development processes (Code Review, CI/CD, automated testing).
• Provide activity reporting to management in France and to clients.

3. Technical Expertise & Roadmap

• In collaboration with the CTO, train the teams on the key tools in our stack.
• Ensure that developments are aligned with Smile's Data roadmap.

4. Management & Training

• Identify skills development needs and manage the training plan.
• Engage the local Data community (knowledge sharing, internal meetups).
• Recruit and integrate new talent to support growth.

5. Pre-sales (AVV)

• Bring your expertise during the bidding phases: technical costing, architecture definition and presentation.
• Promote the "Nearshore" delivery model to prospects and existing clients.

Technical Environment:

The candidate must be proficient in or have experience managing projects using the following technologies:

• Ingestion & Orchestration: Apache NiFi, Airflow (mastery essential), dbt.
• Cloud platforms: Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Google Cloud Dataflow.
• Storage & Analytics: Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, PostgreSQL.
• Visualization: Power BI, Metabase, Tableau.
• DevOps Data: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Gitlab CI.

Desired Candidate Profile

Desired Profile:

• Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Data, with at least one successful experience in Service Center management or technical team management.
• Soft Skills: Natural leadership, excellent communication (French/English), ability to arbitrate and a sense of customer service.
• Business Vision: You understand the profitability challenges of a profit center and know how to transform a customer need into a concrete technical solution.
