Job :

Mission

Design 3D interior ambient lighting modules (light guides, LED boards, housings, fixings) and produce 2D mock-ups and drawings up to data release, in coordination with the DRE and style departments.

Responsibilities

• Model parts and assemblies: light guides, diffusers, reflectors, housings, PCB supports, clips, and interfaces with door panels, dashboards, and consoles.
• Integrate the module into its vehicle environment: space studies, clearances and flushness, assembly accessibility, harness routing.
• Apply plastic design rules: draft angles, thicknesses, ribs, parting lines, mold feasibility.
• Create 2D drawings with functional dimensions (GD&T / ISO GPS) and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Update data following optical (homogeneity, luminance) and thermal simulations.
• Prepare project milestone deliverables and manage data in the PDM/PLM system (versions, statuses, check-in).
• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and exchanges with suppliers and toolmakers.

Required profile :

Profile

• 2-3 year degree (BTS CPI, BUT GMP) to a Master's degree in mechanical design.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in automotive design, ideally in lighting or interior plastic parts.

Skills

• CAD Software: CATIA V5, 3DEXPERIENCE, or NX (surface and solid modeling)
• PLM: Enovia, Teamcenter, or Windchill
• Design: injection molded plastic parts, assemblies, and vehicle interfaces
• Dimensioning: GD&T, dimensioning and tolerancing chains
• Lighting: basic knowledge of optics appreciated (light guides, LEDs, total internal reflection)
• Languages: French and technical English
• Soft skills: rigor, attention to detail, responsiveness to changes, teamwork in a multidisciplinary team (optics, electronics, style, quality)
