As part of strengthening the QA team, the QA Technical Expert / Test Automation Architect supports the QA Lead in defining technical directions, structuring test architectures, and industrializing automation practices. They also contribute to the technical assessments of QA profiles and the harmonization of quality standards across teams.
Main missions
- Architecture and automation strategy: designing and evolving test architectures, defining automation strategies and selecting technical approaches adapted to project contexts.
- Test framework design: structuring robust, modular, reusable and maintainable frameworks, integrating good design and development practices.
- Industrialization of testing: integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, optimizing their execution and making test campaigns more reliable in a continuous delivery approach.
- QA technical expertise: intervening on API, E2E, integration and regression tests, analyzing application architectures and identifying technical risks related to testability.
- QA audit and assessment: evaluate the technical maturity level of teams, audit existing frameworks and practices, and define measurable areas for improvement.
- Technical standards and governance: defining good automation practices, architecture standards and quality indicators, while promoting their adoption across T4F teams.
- Technical support: play a reference role with QA and development teams, share expertise and support skills development on tools, frameworks and automation methods.
Skills and profile sought
- Proven experience as a QA Automation Expert, Test Automation Architect or Lead QA with a strong technical focus.
- Excellent mastery of the design and architecture of automation frameworks.
- Solid experience in API, E2E, UI and integration test automation.
- My mastery of several automation systems and ability to adapt technical choices to project needs.
- Good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, versioning, environment management and test data.
- Capability to optimize the stability, maintainability, performance and reusability of automated tests.
- Experience in technical auditing, QA maturity assessment and definition of cross-functional standards.
- Strong analytical, design, complex problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
