Job Summary
Overview
We are looking for experienced FAI/LAI Service Center Engineers to support a major aerospace program for Airbus. The selected candidates will be responsible for reviewing and validating a high volume of LAI (Last Article Inspection) dossiers ensuring compliance with Airbus quality requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate approximately 2000 LAI dossiers during H1 2027.
- Assess FAI/LAI documentation related to structural and mechanical aircraft parts.
- Verify compliance with Airbus requirements manufacturing standards and quality procedures.
- Analyze technical documentation manufacturing records and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with Engineering Quality Manufacturing and Suppliers to resolve documentation discrepancies.
- Track review progress identify risks and deviations and propose corrective action plans.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to FAI/LAI processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in FAI/LAI activities within the aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of structural and mechanical aircraft components.
- Ability to review and interpret technical drawings manufacturing documentation and quality records.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Airbus A350 and/or A220 programs.
- Previous experience working within an Airbus environment.
- Familiarity with aerospace quality standards and manufacturing processes.
