Your objective will be to design, develop, and maintain complex and robust data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform, according to modern data engineering principles, to ensure the collection, processing, and analysis of data for Carrefour's various departments. The role also includes the design of generative AI solutions and the implementation of AI agents integrated into data flows.
You will be responsible for:
- Design, development and maintenance of batch and real-time data pipelines on GCP
- Handling large volumes of data with Spark, Kafka, Pub/Sub, BigQuery and DBT
- Design and development of generative AI solutions and AI agents integrated into data streams
- Automation of data workflows via GitLab CI/CD and Docker Compose. Company description

Experience in large-scale retail is a plus.
Technical skills:
- Scala and/or Java development, with a thorough understanding of functional programming
- Data streaming with Apache Kafka and distributed processing with Apache Spark
- Significant experience in Data and Cloud, particularly on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Excellent command of BigQuery and advanced SQL on large volumes of data.
- In-depth knowledge of DBT for pipeline management and orchestration
- Pub/Sub for real-time data stream management
- CI/CD with GitLab CI/CD and Docker Compose
- Linux environment and command-line tools
- Version control with Git
- Generative AI and AI agents applied to data flows
- Agile methodology (Scrum) in a multidisciplinary team
Soft skills:
- Clear and effective communication in French, both written and oral, with the profession and the teams.
- Analytical skills and proactive approach, identification of areas for improvement
- Respect for deadlines with a high level of quality requirements

Desired Candidate Profile
A Master's degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school or equivalent university qualification with a specialization in computer science, or equivalent significant experience.
Experience : 3 to 7 years of experience in Data Engineering Java / Scala
