Within this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

- Carry out railway signalling studies in accordance with project requirements.

- Participate in defining the functional architecture of signaling systems.

- Analyze the technical specifications and customer requirements.

- to develop and update study documents: technical plans, functional diagrams, design files and interface documents.

- Participate in defining the interfaces between signaling systems, rolling stock, control systems and other railway subsystems.

- Contribute to the development and configuration of signaling systems.

- Participate in the integration of signaling equipment and subsystems.

- Analyze technical anomalies and ensure their follow-up until their resolution.

- Collaborate with the systems engineering, control and command, validation and project management teams.

- Participate in the drafting of verification and validation plans and procedures.

- To carry out or contribute to functional and integration testing activities.

- Analyze the test results and write the associated reports.

- Verify that the deliverables conform to the technical and functional requirements.

- Participate in the preparation of validation and commissioning files.

- Apply the applicable railway standards and references.

- Contribute to risk analyses and security studies.

- Ensure traceability of technical requirements and modifications.

- Participate in the handling of non-conformities and the implementation of corrective actions.

Comp tences :

Good knowledge of railway signalling systems

- Understanding of the operating principles of railway control systems.

- Knowledge of signalling equipment: interlockings, signals, track circuits, axle counters and train detection systems.

- Understanding of the principles of train protection and traffic management.

- Knowledge of ETCS/ERTMS or CBTC systems, depending on the scope of the project.

- Mastery of the processes of study, integration, verification and validation.

- Knowledge of EN 50126, EN 50128 and EN 50129 standards, depending on the activities carried out.

- Understanding of RAMS principles: reliability, availability, maintainability and security.

- Raising awareness of functional safety requirements and the traceability of requirements.

- My mastery of office and document management tools.

- Use of requirements management and anomaly tracking tools.

- Knowledge of railway design and simulation tools appreciated.

- Knowledge of tools such as DOORS, Polarion or equivalents is an asset

Desired Candidate Profile

Profile: Bac+5, engineering degree or master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, automation, embedded systems, industrial systems or equivalent field.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in railway signalling, control and command or railway systems engineering.

• Experience on railway infrastructure projects, metro, tramway or main line projects is an advantage.

Experience in design, studies, integration or verification and validation is appreciated.
