Main mission

The Senior DBA is responsible for the management, optimization, and security of the company's Oracle and MongoDB databases, ensuring their availability, performance, and scalability. They play a key role in architecture design, project team support, and the implementation of best practices.

Responsibilities

• Daily administration of Oracle and MongoDB databases (installation, configuration, monitoring, backup, restoration).

• Performance optimization (queries, indexing, tuning).

• Implementation and monitoring of security and high availability policies (RAC, Data Guard, MongoDB replication).

• Migration, upgrade and patch management.

• Support for development teams and projects (advice on modeling, queries, integration).

• Automation of recurring tasks (scripts, monitoring tools).

• Participation in architectural choices and digital transformation projects.

• Documentation and technology monitoring of Oracle and MongoDB developments.

Desired Candidate Profile

Desired profile

• Education : Bachelor's degree + 5 years in computer science or equivalent.

• Experience : Minimum 7-10 years in database administration, including proven expertise in Oracle and MongoDB.

• Technical skills :

  • Oracle: RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, PL/SQL, SQL optimization.

  • MongoDB: Sharding, replication, security, performance tuning.

  • Systems: Linux/Unix, Windows Server.

  • Monitoring tools: OEM, Prometheus, Grafana.

• Soft skills :

  • Rigour and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a team and communicate with technical and professional profiles.

  • Proactivity and a proactive approach.
