Job :

Reporting to the DIRECTOR OF RELIABILITY, your missions will be:

• To durably improve the availability, reliability, and maintainability of industrial equipment.
• It deploys reliability methodologies (RCM, FMEA, RBM) to identify failure causes, optimize maintenance strategies, and reduce unplanned downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Perform FMEA analyses on critical equipment in rolling mills, steelworks, and utilities to identify failure modes and their consequences;
• Lead RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) studies to define optimal maintenance strategies per equipment

• Conduct recurrent failure analyses using structured methods: 5 Whys, Fault Tree Analysis, Ishikawa, Pareto chart;

• Calculate and monitor reliability indicators: MTBF, MTTR, availability rate, failure rate, MTTF
• Perform statistical reliability analyses to model equipment lifespans
• Develop and update preventive and predictive maintenance plans based on reliability analyses

• Lead the predictive maintenance program: vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, non-destructive testing ;

• Manage equipment criticality and direct maintenance resources according to risk levels;
• Optimize critical spare parts inventory in connection with reliability analyses and observed MTBFs

• Utilize CMMS data to identify failure trends and propose action plans

• Contribute to continuous improvement projects (Lean, TPM, Kaizen) aimed at reducing unplanned downtime
• Train maintenance teams in industrial reliability methods and tools.
• Develop, maintain, and update the maintenance plan and the equipment sustainability plan for its area, in collaboration with the operational team ;

• Lead the reliability committee for its area and manage associated action plans
• Contribute to the definition and monitoring of the maintenance budget for its zone
• Promote standardization and deploy the Professional Maintenance pillar (WCM / TPM)
• Conduct safety audits and practice Shared Vigilance in all its interventions

Required profile :

Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering,
Industrial Maintenance)

Technical Skills:

• Reliability methods: RCM, FMEA, RBM, FMECA, HAZOP, Pareto analysis ….
• Vibration analysis: signal g, envelope gE, frequency spectrum, defect identification (ISO 10816 / ISO 13373)
• Infrared thermography, oil analysis (ISO 4406 particle count), NDT
• CMMS: analysis of breakdown histories, generation of predictive work orders COSWIN
• Indicators: MTBF, MTTR, OEE, availability rate, MP/MC rate
• Standards: IEC 60300, ISO 14224, EN 13306, ISO 55000 (asset management)
• Knowledge of steelmaking processes: rolling mills, furnaces, electric arc furnace.
