Job Description: The Senior QA Automation Consultant is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of delivered applications. They are involved throughout the project lifecycle, from defining the test strategy to production deployment, ensuring the implementation of best practices in automation.

Responsabilit s

• Define the test automation strategy and validation criteria
• Design and maintain automated test scripts with Playwright or Robot Framework
• Set up test environments and ensure their stability
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Identify and document anomalies, and track their resolution with the development teams.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-up, sprint planning, retrospective, etc.)
• Ensure optimal test coverage (functional, regression, API, UI)
• Train and support junior QA teams in the use of automation frameworks
• To monitor technological developments in testing, integration, and reporting tools

Technical skills required

• Tools and frameworks: Playwright, Robot Framework, Cypress (an asset)
• Java / Python / JavaScript pour le scripting automatis
• TestNG , JUnit , PyTest ou quivalents
• Postman, RestAssured for API testing
• Jenkins , GitLab CI/CD , Azure DevOps pour l int gration continue
• Docker , Kubernetes (notions appr ci es)
• Test management: JIRA / XRay, Zephyr, TestRail or equivalents
• Knowledge of BDD methodologies (Cucumber / Gherkin)
• Environments: Web, API, mobile (Appium is a plus)
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS/Azure) is appreciated.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• Master's degree (Bac +5) in computer science or software engineering
• Minimum 4 years of experience in software quality, including 2 years in test automation
• Exp rience confirm e with Playwright or Robot Framework
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration
• ISTQB Certification (Foundation or Advanced) preferred
