Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Banquet Supervisor to join our team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. As a Banquet Supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth of banquet events while maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of banquet operations including setup service and breakdown of events
- Lead train and motivate the banquet staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with kitchen and event teams to ensure seamless coordination of banquet activities
- Conduct preevent meetings with clients and event coordinators to review details and address special requests
- Manage inventory control of banquet supplies and equipment assisting with ordering and restocking as needed
- Monitor service quality during events and provide ongoing feedback and support to staff
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as hotel and brand standards
- Maintain accurate records of event logistics including guest counts setup requirements and special requests
- Assist with billing and event settlement at the conclusion of events
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for improving efficiency and guest satisfaction
Qualifications :
- Proven supervisory experience in banquet operations or a similar hospitality role
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and capacity to remain calm under pressure
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work across various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Indepth knowledge of banquet operations and event management
- Thorough understanding of food and beverage service standards
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
- Knowledge of local customs and etiquette in Jeddah Saudi Arabia (preferred)
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
