Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Banquet Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our banquet operations you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen ensuring highquality food preparation and presentation for largescale events and gatherings.
- Manage a designated section of the banquet kitchen overseeing food preparation cooking and plating
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to develop and execute innovative menu items for banquets and special events
- Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards in your assigned station
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Assist in inventory management and cost control within your section
- Participate in menu planning and recipe development for banquet offerings
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adapt to changing priorities and handle highpressure situations during peak banquet times
- Contribute to the overall success of the culinary team by supporting other sections as needed
Qualifications :
- Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
- Minimum 23 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role preferably in highvolume banquet operations
- Strong culinary skills with expertise in various cuisines particularly Middle Eastern and international
- Indepth knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards with current food safety certification
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail and presentation
- Ability to work in Saudi Arabia (valid work visa or local residency)
