Manager Design Governance

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Manager - Design Governance to join the Design Excellence (DEx) department within the CDU. This full-time role is responsible for implementing and maintaining design governance frameworks to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all Qiddiya projects. The Manager will act as a custodian of design principles, ensuring alignment with QIC objectives and unique identity.

Role Context and Impact

The Manager - Design Governance is a senior member of the vertical within the Design Excellence department. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and Business Unit counterparts to monitor and ensure adherence to established governance processes. The Manager will also contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and design practices by providing feedback on adoption issues to other DEx verticals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QIC-wide processes for reviewing and monitoring project adherence to Board-approved CGIs and imagery, including concept and interior designs.
• Create, update, and maintain a centralized repository of dated Board-approved CGIs for reference and compliance tracking.
• Conduct systematic audits and coordinate with Design Excellence (DEx) teams across business units to ensure compliance with approved designs and identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with design, project management, and other governance teams to embed design standards and resolve compliance issues.
• Prepare reports on compliance status, audit findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement in design governance.
• Define clear workflows for design governance reviews, approvals, and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate with Design Excellence (DEx) teams across business units to identify discrepancies and enforce corrective actions.
• Develop compliance dashboards and reporting mechanisms for leadership visibility.
• Utilize advanced digital tools such as Excel and Power BI to analyze datasets and create visual dashboards that support informed, data-driven decision-making.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in project coordination, document preparation, and analytical tasks, contributing to the professional development of the team.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.
