Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership & Commercial Support

• Build strong working relationships with commercial teams across the GCC and Middle East region as well as key cross-functional stakeholders including Medical Affairs Finance Regulatory Affairs Business Conduct/Legal and other support functions.
• Represent the needs of the Middle East markets in relation to Sales Force Effectiveness Commercial Learning & Development and Omnichannel capabilities ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Support commercial teams by providing insights recommendations and operational solutions that drive business performance.
• Promote the sharing of best practices and collaborate with regional and cross-functional teams on common business challenges and projects.

Commercial Planning

• Support the development and execution of robust commercial plans and Periodic Operating Reviews (POAs).
• Ensure Commercial Operations objectives priorities and initiatives are clearly documented communicated monitored and regularly reviewed.
• Provide analytical and operational support to enable effective business planning and decision-making.

Omnichannel

• Partner with business and cross-functional teams to develop and execute the local digital and omnichannel roadmap.
• Drive the adoption and effective use of digital analytics and omnichannel capabilities across the organization.
• Run Workshops & Identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement through innovative digital solutions and continuous improvement of existing capabilities.
• Support the successful implementation and measurement of omnichannel initiatives.

Analytics & Insights

• Partner closely with partners to support business performance reviews and planning processes.
• Monitor market performance against targets and plans identifying key trends opportunities and risks.
• Develop actionable insights that support decision-making and improve business outcomes.
• Collaborate with regional Analytics & Insights teams to address country-specific analytical requirements.

Sales Force Excellence

• Collaborate with Business Units Sales Leadership and regional Commercial Learning & Development teams to develop and execute country training plans.
• Lead Sales Force Effectiveness initiatives including:
  • Incentive compensation planning and administration
  • Sales target setting
  • Segmentation and targeting methodologies
  • CRM adoption and optimization
  • Field force performance monitoring and effectiveness programs
• Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity and execution effectiveness.

Stakeholder Management & Operational Excellence

• Ensure market stakeholders are actively engaged throughout Commercial Operations processes and that their feedback is incorporated into solutions and recommendations.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues dependencies and cross-functional challenges.
• Develop and maintain frameworks tools templates and processes that strengthen Commercial Operations capabilities and support evolving business needs.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Leadership & Culture

• Foster effective collaboration across functions and markets to achieve shared business objectives.
• Support capability development and knowledge sharing within the Commercial Operations organization.

Skills and experience:

• B.A./B.S. required
• 8 years in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry including expertise in commercial operations commercial strategy or planning marketing and/or medical affairs.
• Strong leadership and self-direction comfort and experience tackling ambiguous and complex problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to lead interact with focus negotiate resolve conflict and drive consensus among individuals from a variety of cultures and disciplines
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing experience presenting before executive staff
• Demonstrated excellence in program management project management change management and effectively managing multiple projects/priorities
• Proficiency in MS Word Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluency in English is required Arabic is also preferred
