• Description: Our client is a fast-growing consulting and advisory firm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, currently expanding its regional tax practice. They are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to manage client engagements, oversee compliance, provide technical advisory services, and support practice development. Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and oversee client engagements covering VAT, Excise Tax, Real Estate Transaction Tax (RETT), and Customs.
  2. Review and finalize tax returns, technical calculations, assessments, and client deliverables to ensure compliance with Saudi tax regulations.
  3. Provide specialized technical advice to clients on complex indirect tax matters, including tax planning, operational structuring, and compliance considerations.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing ongoing relationships and delivery expectations across multiple engagements.
  5. Lead, supervise, coach, and mentor junior tax professionals while maintaining high-quality delivery standards and meeting engagement timelines.
  6. Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, drafting client pitches, and identifying new advisory opportunities.
  7. Monitor regulatory developments, Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) circulars, legislative amendments, and industry best practices.
  Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Recognized professional tax/accounting qualification (e.g., SOCPA, CTA, ACCA, CPA) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of dedicated Indirect Tax experience, ideally within a professional services, accounting, or consulting firm.
  • Skills: In-depth technical knowledge of Saudi VAT, RETT, Excise Tax, and ZATCA compliance frameworks. Strong engagement management, team leadership, and analytical capabilities.
  • Languages: Full professional proficiency in both Arabic and English.
