Job description
Summary:
We are seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to maintain a safe and environmentally friendly work environment.
Job Responsibility:
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Develop and implement safety programs to minimize workplace injuries and accidents
- Coordinate and conduct training sessions on safety practices for employees
- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine causes and prevent future occurrences
- Stay up-to-date with all environmental regulations and ensure proper compliance
- Communicate effectively with employees, management, and regulatory bodies regarding safety and environmental concerns
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (OSHA) is a plus
