About the Role

eDataBae is seeking an Arabic AI Data Analyst & Photographer for a multimodal AI project. This contract role, based in Saudi Arabia, involves supporting an AI evaluation project focused on real-world images and multimodal AI systems. The position requires 0-1 years of experience and focuses on sourcing, preparing, and evaluating image-based content to enhance AI models' understanding of visual information and research-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Source authentic photographs of real-world places, products, and media relevant to the region.
• Verify image ownership, licensing, and source information for all content.
• Conduct web research using tools such as Google Search, Google Lens, and reverse image search.
• Prepare image variations, including cropped, masked, or obscured versions, while maintaining realistic visual clues.
• Create evaluation prompts, grading criteria, and supporting notes in English.
• Document research findings and image provenance clearly and accurately.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Currently based in Saudi Arabia.
• Native or highly fluent Arabic speaker.
• Strong working proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with local landmarks, products, media, and cultural references within Saudi Arabia.
• Comfortable performing online research and verifying information.
• Basic image editing skills, including cropping, masking, and annotations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured guidelines precisely.
