Business Analyst - Mortgages & Home Finance Location

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Mortgage and Home Finance products to support the delivery of strategic business and technology initiatives. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately captured, analysed, and translated into effective solutions.
This role is ideal for a professional who has worked within the banking or financial services sector, with hands-on exposure to mortgage lending, home financing, loan origination, and related customer journeys, preferably within the Saudi Arabian market.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to understand current processes, pain points, and future-state requirements.
- Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, process maps, and use cases.
- Analyse mortgage and home finance products, processes, and customer journeys to identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Developers, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support solution design discussions and ensure proposed solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparation of test scenarios, test execution support, and defect management.
- Monitor project deliverables to ensure requirements are delivered accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Assist with change management, process improvement, and business transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant banking regulations, policies, and governance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of Business Analysis experience within Banking or Financial Services.
- Strong experience working on Mortgage Lending, Home Finance, Housing Loans, or related lending products.
- Proven ability to gather and document complex business requirements.
- Experience mapping end-to-end mortgage and loan origination processes.
- Strong understanding of lending operations, credit assessment workflows, customer onboarding, and loan servicing.
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall delivery environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience supporting system implementations, digital transformation programmes, or process improvement initiatives.
- Experience within banks, mortgage providers, or financial institutions operating in Saudi Arabia.
- Understanding of Saudi mortgage regulations, home finance products, and lending practices.
- Experience working with Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Core Banking Systems, CRM platforms, or digital banking solutions.
- Knowledge of SAMA regulations and banking governance frameworks.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile Business Analysis, or equivalent are advantageous.
