Job Objective

Provide technical and field supervision for the implementation, installation, and operation of agricultural greenhouse and aquaculture projects. Ensure proper integration between structural frameworks, electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems, control systems, irrigation and fertilization systems, sterilization stations, and water treatment and desalination plants. The engineer must be capable of understanding and reviewing technical drawings, directly supervising installation teams and contractors, resolving technical issues on-site, conducting testing and commissioning, and ensuring all systems are executed according to approved plans and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

1. Greenhouse Structures and Construction

Must have a good understanding of structural steel installation for greenhouses, including:

Reading and reviewing structural and installation drawings

Supervising the setting out of axes, levels, foundation locations, and Anchor Bolts

Supervising the installation and connection of columns, trusses, arches, and metal sections

Supervising the installation of polycarbonate, glass, or plastic covers depending on the project type

Supervising the installation of aluminum sections for glasshouses

Ensuring implementation compliance with plans and technical specifications

2. Electrical Systems

Must be able to understand, execute, and review electrical works and control panels, including:

Designing and reading electrical drawings and Single Line Diagrams

Designing and reviewing Electrical Control Panels

Calculating and reviewing electrical loads and grounding systems

Installing main panels and electrical distribution boards

Installing and connecting motors, pumps, and fans

Proficient understanding of Climate Control Systems used in greenhouses

3. Agricultural Irrigation, Fertigation, and Injection Systems

Supervising the installation and operation of irrigation, fertilization, and injection networks, including:

Main and sub-pumps, water lines, and Drip Irrigation emitters

Manual and automatic valves, filters, measuring devices, and flow and pressure testing equipment

Ensuring proper water distribution within the greenhouses

Installing, testing, and operating the Fertigation Unit

Supervising the installation and operation of RO (Reverse Osmosis) water treatment plants

Supervising the installation and operation of UV water treatment plants

4. Site and Contractor Management

Responsible for daily on-site technical coordination and supervision, including:

Managing, supervising, and following up on installation teams and contractors, and coordinating between them

Coordinating between civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, and agricultural works

Reviewing and inspecting materials and equipment before installation

Monitoring work progress against the schedule and submitting daily and weekly project progress reports

Monitoring quality and safety during execution

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following specializations:
Mechatronics Engineering
Electromechanical Engineering

At least 8 years of office and field experience in implementing specialized electromechanical and agricultural projects.

Required Experience:

Greenhouses / Hydroponics / Agricultural Projects / Irrigation / Fertigation / RO Systems / Pumps / Automation & Control

Valid driver's license

• Power BI
