About the Role
GREENLAND GROUP is seeking a Safety Officer to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance across operations. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience in safety management.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all workers.
- Prepare safety reports, incident reports, and risk assessment documents.
- Organize safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency drills.
- Investigate accidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain fire safety equipment and emergency response readiness.
- Coordinate with project engineers and management to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Keep records of safety permits, inspections, and statutory requirements.
Experience and Qualifications
Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of experience in a safety-related position, demonstrating a solid understanding of HSE regulations and practices. The ability to conduct thorough inspections, prepare detailed reports, and lead safety training initiatives is essential.
Work Environment
