Assistant Safety and Security Manager (Pre opening)

About the Role

Hilton is seeking an Assistant Safety and Security Manager for a full-time, pre-opening position in Saudi Arabia. This role involves leading security operations to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and property, while upholding company standards and local regulations. The Assistant Safety and Security Manager will contribute to creating a secure environment as part of the hotel's leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the security team by recruiting, training, supervising, and mentoring members, conducting performance evaluations, providing professional development, and recognizing achievements.
• Manage security operations, implement protocols to protect guests, employees, and property, and ensure compliance with local regulations and company brand standards.
• Oversee property safety by supervising security patrols, identifying potential risks, and taking proactive measures to address safety and security concerns.
• Assist in conducting investigations related to accidents, thefts, property loss, and policy violations, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
• Manage on-site emergency responses, including fires, medical incidents, and safety hazards, while coordinating with appropriate teams.
• Maintain communication as needed with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies on security-related matters.
• Review and maintain security reports, incident records, and compliance documentation.
• Support hotel operations as part of the leadership team, including taking on duty manager responsibilities as needed and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and hotel standards.

Required Experience and Attributes

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant safety and security role. The role requires individuals who demonstrate a commitment to hospitality, act with integrity, exhibit leadership qualities, value teamwork, take ownership, and maintain a focus on immediate tasks with discipline.
