Job description
A leading commercial company in Riyadh is actively seeking a Senior Accountant with substantial experience in banking interactions and financial documentation. The role involves the preparation of financial statements, management of daily accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing daily accounting operations, including the preparation of entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
- Monitoring bank accounts, transfers, guarantees, and related documentation, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Direct coordination with banks regarding banking services and monitoring requests until completion.
- Preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasts, and monitoring compliance with financial commitments.
- Reviewing budget tables and their alignment with contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and analyzing project costs.
- Monitoring outstanding debts and revenues, and preparing periodic reports for management regarding compliance and profitability.
- Maintaining financial and banking documentation, organizing it, and coordinating with external auditors and relevant parties as needed.
Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field.
• Practical experience in accounting and direct dealings with banks and related documentation.
• Knowledge of procedures for opening, modifying, and enhancing accounts, and reviewing banking documentation.
• Strong relationships with banking professionals and the ability to communicate effectively and manage transactions.
• Experience in preparing budgets, cash flow forecasts, financial reports, and financial analyses.
• Proficiency in reading and reviewing budget tables and linking them to contracts, invoices, and costs.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and financial functions, and experience using accounting software.
• High accuracy in reviewing figures and documents, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in Arabic and English for financial and banking correspondence.
