Role Description The Building Management System (BMS) Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves monitoring, operating, and optimizing building management systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance of HVAC, lighting, electrical, and other critical facility systems. The BMS Operator will respond to alarms and system alerts, perform routine checks, and coordinate with maintenance and technical teams to address issues and carry out corrective actions. Responsibilities include documenting system performance, maintaining logs, supporting preventive maintenance plans, and assisting with system configuration and minor adjustments as needed. The role also requires close collaboration with facility management staff to support energy efficiency, comfort levels, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Building Management and Building Maintenance, with hands-on experience in operating and supporting technical systems in large or complex facilities.
• Candidates should possess skills in Management Systems and Building Management Systems, including familiarity with BMS software platforms, system dashboards, alarms, and reporting tools.
• Candidates should possess skills in Facility Management (FM), including basic knowledge of facility operations, preventive and corrective maintenance procedures, and coordination with FM teams.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Building Services Engineering is preferred.
• Experience in commercial, healthcare, industrial, or mixed-use buildings, with exposure to HVAC, electrical, and fire safety systems, is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and system documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in shifts or extended hours when required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
