Sr. Mechanical Inspectors

Job Summary

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of pressure vessels storage tanks piping systems and mechanical components to ensure compliance with project specifications codes and standards.
• Perform welding inspections in accordance with CSWIP 3.2 standards including visual inspections dimensional checks and defect identification.
• Conduct in-service inspection assessment and certification of pressure vessels (API 510) and storage tanks (API 653).
• Review fabrication erection and maintenance procedures for compliance with engineering drawings and standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports non-conformance reports (NCRs) and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project engineers QA/QC teams and contractors to ensure timely and effective resolution of inspection issues.
• Mentor and guide junior inspectors to enhance inspection quality and compliance awareness.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards codes and best practices relevant to oil and gas mechanical inspections.

Qualifications :

• B.S degree in Engineering in a respective inspection discipline with at least four (4) years of experience in relevant inspection discipline. OR two (2) years industrial/technical College Diploma plus a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant inspection experience.
• AWS SCWI OR CSWIP 3.2 certifications are Mandatory
• API 510 & API 653 certifications are preferred
• Demonstrated thorough knowledge of applicable international standards.
• Demonstrated full working knowledge of quality system standards and methods
