Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site architectural designer role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role covers the full architectural design cycle, from the first idea to the final drawings. You will study the plot and the client's needs, develop a strong concept with smart space planning and attractive facades, and then take the approved design through to complete architectural drawings: permit drawings, construction drawings, details, and schedules. The role involves presenting design options to clients, refining the design based on their feedback, coordinating with structural and MEP engineers, and updating drawings according to comments and local regulations. We are looking for someone who can design beautifully and also draw accurately, with equal strength in both.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or a closely related field

• 5+ years of experience in architectural design and production, covering both concept design and complete drawing packages

• Strong design skills: space planning, efficient layouts, smooth circulation, and distinctive facade design

• Ability to understand client needs and translate them into a successful design

• Experience in site analysis, including plot conditions, orientation, setbacks, and regulations

• Strong technical skills: producing complete, accurate architectural drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details, door/window/finish schedules) ready for execution

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, plus a rendering tool (Lumion, D5, Enscape, or similar)

• Good knowledge of building codes and construction practices; experience with Saudi or GCC regulations is a plus

• Fluent English, written and spoken; Arabic is an advantage

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

• Experience in site supervision, project management, or BIM coordination is a plus, but not required

Eligibility: Egyptian nationals, currently based in Egypt and available to relocate to Riyadh.
