Hill International is seeking a Senior Scheduling Control Engineer to join our team. This full-time role involves developing, monitoring, and managing project schedules to ensure efficient project execution and performance.
Role Overview
The Senior Scheduling Control Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive management of project schedules, from initial development to ongoing monitoring and analysis. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, construction, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with overall project goals and to mitigate potential risks and delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software.
- Monitor project progress and identify areas of concern or potential delays.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop mitigation plans for identified risks.
- Provide regular updates on project status to project teams and management.
- Review and analyze project data to identify trends and improve project performance.
- Collaborate with construction and engineering teams to develop project schedules and ensure alignment with overall project goals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
- Manage schedule change requests and ensure that changes are properly documented and communicated.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on scheduling and control matters.
- Support project managers in the development of project budgets and resource plans.
- Ensure continuous compliance with Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in scheduling and control engineering.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
